INFORMATION
Terminator Wrestling Academy is the premier wrestling club in Southwest Missouri training students who travel from all areas to participate in its training program. Several travel 2 hours each way several times a week to practice. If you are looking for the next level of wrestling training, TWA is your Southwest Missouri destination.
WHY TERMINATORS?
As one of Springfield's elite athletic clubs, Terminator Wrestling Academy's (TWA) mission is to: expose youth to an elevated level of competition through the combative sport of wrestling; our goal is to challenge them athletically; to promote a positive atmosphere; to promote within each athlete a sense of responsibility, improved self-esteem, and an increased sense of commitment to themselves and others. TWA will participate in USA Wrestling (USAW) in local, regional and national competitions, TWA will teach athletes to strive to maintain elite status. Our vision allows our youth to succeed in becoming outstanding citizens, build character and instill a commitment to excellence that will propel them into the future.
USA WRESTLING
USA Wrestling is the national governing body for the sport of wrestling in the United States and, as such, is its representative to the United States olympic committee. Simply, USA Wrestling is the central organization that coordinates amateur wrestling programs in the nation and works to create interest and participation in these programs.
USA Wrestling has more than 180,000 members. These members include athletes of all ages, coaches, officials, parents and fans striving together to strengthen the sport. Part of USA Wrestling's mission is to foster grassroots development for the sport.
